Song Requests is where everything your listeners ask for arrives. Requests come from the request widget on your website; nothing reaches air until you approve it.
It used to sit at the bottom of the External DJs page, which is why people missed it — a listener-facing feature buried in a page about broadcast credentials. It now has its own section, directly under Schedule.
Approve or reject
Each row shows the track, who asked and the current status. Approving one queues it for AutoDJ, which plays it at the next opportunity that fits the programming. Rejecting one simply closes it — the listener is not notified either way.
The list refreshes itself every thirty seconds, and the Refresh button forces it if you are watching a request come in.
The sidebar badge
The count next to Song Requests in the sidebar is the number waiting for a decision. It updates while you work anywhere else in the dashboard, so a request that arrives while you are building a playlist does not sit unseen.
Where requests come from
Requests are submitted against your station's public request widget — see Widgets for the embed code. A listener searches your library, picks a track and optionally leaves a name and a message. Only tracks already in your library can be requested, so nothing unexpected can reach your rotation.
