Schedule

Schedule is the operational plan for the station. It turns your media, playlists, clocks, and live shows into a weekly broadcast grid.

Add a show event

Click a time slot or create a new event. Set the title, start time, duration, repeat pattern, and what the event plays: playlist, clock, rerun, live show, or other supported content.

Choose what happens at the end of a show

A song is almost always still playing when a show reaches its end time, and nothing is ever faded out or cut off part-way. So each show picks one of two endings:

• Let it finish — the song playing at the end time plays all the way through, then the next show begins. Only ever one song runs over, never two, so the next show starts a minute or two late at most. This is the default.
• Finish on time — as the end time gets close, the show only picks songs short enough to finish before it, so the last one ends by itself right on the hour and the next show opens its own minute. Use this for anything that has to start when it says it does: news, a live show, an ad break. If nothing short enough exists it plays the shortest song it has, so the show is over by a few seconds rather than a few minutes.

Between shows this never applies. When nothing is scheduled, the ambient rotation and the fallback playlist always get out of the way on time, so a scheduled show never starts late because filler was mid-song.

Live shows have a separate setting instead — a grace period in minutes, which is how long the DJ may stay connected past the end time before the stream is taken back.

Add public show details

When a Radio Site Maker website is linked, Schedule can also carry public details: show description, artwork, presenters, website visibility, and whether track metadata should be hidden.

Decide what appears on the website

Use Show this on my website to control public visibility. Use Hide track metadata when a show needs privacy, compliance, or mystery programming. That setting affects the website, widgets, and app surfaces that consume public metadata.

Edit one occurrence or the whole series

When changing a repeating show, choose whether the edit applies to this occurrence or the full series. Use occurrence edits for guest hosts, specials, or temporary cover shows.

Publish to Radio Site Maker

If Studio controls the website schedule, changes sync automatically and can also be pushed from the Website screen. If handover is pending, schedule edits stay in Studio until the website accepts Studio as the source.
