Getting started with RadioHost Studio

RadioHost Studio is the automation control room for your station. Use it to upload audio, build playlists and clocks, schedule shows, manage live DJs, publish widgets, track audience data, and send the right public schedule to Radio Site Maker.

The shortest successful setup path

1. Open Settings and confirm the station name, timezone, streaming bitrate, recording retention, and geo-blocking rules.
2. Upload music, jingles, sweepers, voice tracks, and beds in Media Library.
3. Build at least one Playlist for music rotation. Leave it as General Rotation and enabled, and it fills every unscheduled hour on its own — no fallback playlist required.
4. Build a Clock that defines the shape of an hour.
5. Add shows in Schedule, assign a playlist or clock, and decide which shows appear on your website.
6. Open Website and connect Radio Site Maker if you want your public site to follow Studio.
7. Use Widgets for embeds on non-Radio Site Maker websites.
8. Check Analytics and export reports once your station is running.

What the dashboard tells you

The Overview screen is your health check. It summarizes what is on air, what plays next, listener count, storage status, and website sync status. If something is missing, the fastest fix is usually visible from one of those tiles.

When to connect Radio Site Maker

Connect Radio Site Maker once your station identity and timezone are correct. You can connect early without handing over the public schedule. The important control is the handover state: until the website accepts Studio as the schedule source, your website keeps its existing public schedule.

Daily operator rhythm

Use Media Library for incoming audio, Playlists and Clocks for repeatable automation, Schedule for the weekly plan, Voice Tracks for hosted links, and Live Studio or External DJs when humans are on air. The rest of the product supports that loop: Website publishes the public-facing version, Widgets embed it elsewhere, and Analytics proves what happened.
