Let it finish — the next show starts a bit late The song playing at the end time plays all the way through, then the next show begins. Only ever one song runs over — never two. If the show ends at 11:00 and a song started at 10:58, the next show starts around 11:01. Finish on time — the next show starts at its time As the end time gets close, this show only picks songs short enough to finish before it. The last one ends by itself right on the hour. Nothing is ever faded out or cut off part-way. If nothing short enough exists it plays the shortest it has, so it is over by a few seconds rather than a few minutes.

Between shows this never applies — when nothing is scheduled, the rotation always gets out of the way so the next show starts exactly on time.
